Firestop

Many contractors are finding they need to apply firestop products as part of a passive fire protection system in new construction projects or during major renovations. Lemmer has several pumps that work very well with products specified as sprayable, provided that appropriate accessories are used. A listing of those pumps and accessories is shown below.

When spraying fire stop materials, contractors should remove the high pressure filter element & core along with the gun filter and spring to prevent unnecessary plugging. For some of the thicker products, the ‘rock stopper’ intake filter should also be removed for best results.

It is very important for the user to follow all recommendations from the coating manufacturer regarding preparation, application and cleaning when using firestop products.

DC7700 Airless Electric Piston Pump

This professional sprayer is designed for heavy commercial, industrial, and maintenance jobs. Materials which can be sprayed include latex, oil base, elastomeric, heavy architectural coatings, block filler, dry wall, etc. It's slow stroking pump design increases packing and piston life to the maximum. It's PMDC new technology motor has no brushes, requires less amperage, and will never wear out. It is very safe being a brushless motor and runs extremely quiet.

HP9500 Piston Pump

Incredible power comes from a hydraulic system that drives a large piston paint pump.

The system's 2 GPM flow rate will handle up to one .045 tip, two .031's, or four .021 tips! Power is provided by a gas 5.5 hp Honda and will run approximately 3.5 hours on one tank of fuel. The system is easily converted to electric drive with an optional 2 hp DC motor. In the electric mode, performance is reduced to 1.25 GPM and will handle one .036 tip. The system comes with 50 mesh high pressure filter and high pressure gauge. Its heavy duty cart has large air filled tires.

L50 Gun

Heavy duty construction makes this gun the best choice for thick coatings and severe conditions. Features include spring steel trigger guard, heavy duty trigger, top hook, large area filter inside the handle, hose swivel, external packing adjustment, spring outside the paint channel for quicker cleaning, and "long throw" needle/drum design for longer service life in abrasive materials.

Fibre Braid Hose

Fibre braid hose is most commonly sold for standard airless equipment with 1/4" fittings. Equipment output pressure must not exceed 3,300 psi. Grounding is provided by continuous conductive weave grounding. "Anti-kink" springs are installed on both hose ends. Fibre braid hose must be used on Lemmer electric piston pumps. Lemmer fibre braid hose is sold in two standard lengths 1/4" x 25' and 1/4" x 50'.
