The Lemmer air/airless guns are light and easy to maneuver. The combination of high airless fluid
pressure (500 - 2000 psi) and low atomizing air pressure (5 - 50 psi) gives the best of both air and
airless qualities. Results are fast production speeds with quality finishes! Airless systems also have
the favorable advantage of easy cleaning, and being able to pump from original containers. The Air
Combi gun will hook-up to any airless pump which will deliver between 500 and 2000 psi. A small air
compressor delivering about 5 cfm (free flow) is sufficient for the atomizing air when using light
materials. The Air Combi is a high quality German built product.
How does air assist work? The paint, lacquer, varnish or other coating is delivered through an airless
tip at low pressure (typically 500 to 800 psi). This low pressure makes paint particles travel slowly for
a softer spray pattern with little overspray, lower paint consumption, a thicker more efficient coating
and faster working rates. A small amount of compressed air is introduced to the spray to complete the
atomization process. The atomizing air is passed at a low pressure (5 to 50 psi) to shape and soften
the spray pattern. The result is a beautiful finish applied with great efficiencies. Reduced overspray
minimizes booth & filter maintenance. The operator can adjust the paint flow rate by changing the
pressure at the airless pump and he will not reduce atomizing efficiency. This provides maximum
flexibility while maintaining superior finish.
1) Dual regulators with gauges to control fluid and air cap pressures.
2) 3033 Wiwa pneumatic pump: 33:1 ratio, 3.3 ltr./min., self adjusting packings.
3) High pressure filter with gauge keeps spray tip from clogging and shows fluid pressure.
4) High pressure twin line hose using highest quality hoses for safety.
5) Air Combi gun: 3500 psi maximum fluid, 50 psi maximum air, stainless steel & tungsten fluid path.
